I love venturing to new venues and Sarah and Daniels wedding was my first time at Stanley House in the North West. It's surprisingly a very easy route from Wigan so I'm sure I'll be back here more often which will be awesome as it's a great setting for a wedding!!
Sarah and Daniel found me when their friend shared their own wedding photos on Facebook and they got in touch to tell me about their big day. They told me they wanted their day to be fun and that they wanted the photos to focus mainly on the natural moments, people laughing and having a good time, rather than loads of family formals and being stood around all day while they took place. Music to my ears as I love to capture the natural moments during a wedding, it's when you can really capture the day and the personalities of the guests!
The morning at Stanley House was super calm with the awesome Sonara Parker doing the makeup and once ready we headed out to St.Matthew's Church, Burnley. The service was full of laughter and smiles as they exchanged glances at one another and once it was over we headed outside to greet their guests before heading back over to the venue for the reception and to continue the celebrations.
Luckily the wind died down after the service and when we arrived at Stanley House it was obvious that we were going to get a lovely evening. We didn't take any chances though and bagged some couples portraits before wedding breakfast and when we headed out later in the evening the sun was shining and it was like a totally different day to the weather earlier! This made for some great sunset images within the grounds of the venue.
It really was a beautiful day with 2 amazing people! From the start I knew it was going to be a great day and echoed through the whole day! My first experience at Stanley House was certainly one to remember!
