Cheryl & John: Trafford Hall, Cheshire Wedding
When I met Cheryl and John and heard about their wedding plans, I couldn’t count down the days fast enough. ‘Indie Disco’ and lot’s of fun sounded damn good to me! Their wedding took place at Trafford Hall in the North West near Chester and although the building is stunning, most of the day took place in the amazing woodland at the back of the hall. Trafford Hall was their venue of choice because they are a registered charity offering training and support to all those living and working in low-income areas throughout the United Kingdom to develop their skills, confidence and capacity to tackle problems and reverse poor conditions. A lot of the money that comes in from holding weddings goes straight back into the charity and as a charitable couple, it was the perfect place to host their day and to support an amazing cause.
When I arrived I was greeted by an army of bridesmaids busy sowing the wedding day decorations. I was amazed by their talent and it was a real personal touch to decorate the day in their own hard work. The service was held in the grounds woodland and like the morning, full of smiles, love and laugher. The partying then continued outside, with some epic games of foosball, until the sunset and everyone moved inside. Cheryl and John didn’t want to have a wedding cake but instead opted to have a ‘Great British Cake-Off’ where guests would bring their own cakes and a winner would be picked for the best one. Once the winner was crowned the Indie Disco kicked off in the reception room. It was an amazing day for a truly amazing couple.
