Anna and Ian's Wrenbury Hall Wedding!

Anna and Ian's Wrenbury Hall Wedding!

When Anna and Ian got in touch about the wedding I knew from the first email it was going to be one hell of a party. They chosen had Wrenbury Hall for the wedding location situated in Cheshire,  an elegant country house with stunning grounds and amazing interior. It opened it’s doors to weddings in 1998 catering for smaller weddings, before growing in 2000 to allow for much bigger numbers. Being stood for 400 years, it’s certainly a wedding venue worth looking at!

Bridal Preparations at Wrenbury Hall.

I started the morning with the bride during bridal preparations where she got ready with her bridesmaids and mothers of both the bride and groom. Everyone was in good spirits throughout the morning while they had the hair and make up done. Meanwhile while the girls were getting ready, the guys chilled at home in the hot tub with a beer and plenty of laughter.  The guys planned to arrive in style to Wrenbury hall in a helicopter which landed in their own back garden and transported the guys in twos.

When it was time to begin the ceremony Anna revealed her dress to her dad gave him a gift and then headed out side to where Ian was waiting at the end of the aisle. As the weather was nice the pair had the wedding ceremony outside with all the family and friends. Ian could not hold in the tears as Anna made her way down the aisle looking stunning.  Once Anna was at the end of the aisle the tears were replaced by smiles which stayed there throughout the ceremony.

Helicopter Flight to Wrenbury Hall.

When the happy couple made the way down the aisle Ian surprise Anna by telling her that the helicopter was sticking around so they could have their own ride together. The pair climbed into the helicopter and had a little flight around the area even visiting their own home.

While the newlyweds where inflate the guests made the most of the weather playing on the bouncy castle enjoying ice cream and chatting while awaiting their return. As soon as they touched base they were showered with confetti and greeted by their guests.

While everyone was mingling are use the time to capture candid moments to really tell the story of the day. Well guess will be in seated I pinched a couple to capture a few natural portraits in the stunning grounds at Wrenbury Hall.  Being a photographer at Wrenbury Hall leaves you spoilt for choice for amazing photo opportunities as with every turn they’re lovely gardens and stunning architecture.

Once the guests were seated it was time to begin the speeches were nothing was held back and the room was in fits of laughter and tears during some of the emotional moments. Once the wedding breakfast was over Guests headed outside to make the most of the evening sun and Anna and Ian greeted the evening guests as they arrived. Before we lost the sunlight and the rain role then we headed to the lower part of the grounds to capture a few more portraits why the light was different.

The wedding evening reception.

The guest were soon invited into the reception room where the evening festivities began. The bride and groom talk to the dance-floor for the first dance Were they was showered by Confetti cannons as the band kicked in and entertain the guests throughout the night. The dance-floor didn’t empty as the band played hit after hit and kept the energy in the room high at all times.

It really was a pleasure to capture their special day and I loved my first experience of working at Wrenbury Hall as a wedding photographer!
