Irene and Eugene's Mitton Hall Wedding!

Mitton Hall Wedding Photography

Irene and Eugene married at Mitton Hall, Clitheroe in Lancashire. One of my favourite venues to work at that mixes the old with the new, where the team working the day are always super helpful. The Brides morning started with her bridesmaids as they had their hair and makeup done and got ready for the tea serving ceremony, which was to take place before the wedding. Irene wore a traditional red dress for the ceremony and smiled with excitement when Eugene came into the room looking smart in his suit. Then sat before their elders as the tea ceremony began. In exchange for tea, family members would gift the bride and groom with gold items or a red envelope. After the tea ceremony, the bride moved over to the bridal suite to get into her wedding dress while Eugene made his way downstairs to greet the guests as they arrive at Mittan Hall.

Getting Married at Mitton Hall, Lancashire

Irene smiled as she made her way down the aisle with her dad why Eugene watched on proudly. The ceremony was full of smiles and laughter I’m going off this morning I knew we were in for an amazing day. After the ceremony guests may go away outside to enjoy the sunshine and to greet the happy couple. After some time of the guests we did a handful of family photos and during the photo in the bridesmaids, the dog decided to do a poop on the red carpet, which has turned out to be a very popular photo of mine. Guests gathered from drinks in the rear gardens at missing all who are the laughter and fun continued. I stole the couple briefly for some natural portraits around the front of the building just before calling in for the wedding breakfast and speeches. The speeches are always a great way for me to learn a little more about the couple and allow me to capture the reactions from the guests.

After the speeches and finished the groom was challenged to some Chinese door games. These are normally done the morning of the wedding to prove how much the groom loves the bride by taking on a series of challenges that bring him to her. As the newlyweds had done the tea serving ceremony in the morning they decided to do these instead after the speeches which made for some amazing photos and lots of laughter throughout the room. After this, the bride and groom moved to the dance floor to do their first dance. Irene then changed into an evening playsuit so that she could party more easily. We ended the night by heading into the dark night and doing a sparkler send off! What a perfect way to end a perfect day!
